 Q. Will the Cover Valet work with my portable spa?
A. Yes, if your spa has 3" of clearance on the two sides where the mounting brackets attach. See below.
B. Yes, if your spa cabinet is a square or rectangle with square corners or round corners or no larger than 20".
The Cover Valet will not attach to round, oval, octagon, bowed, or kidney shaped portable spa cabinets. If your spa cabinet will not accept a Cover Valet, try the Cover Butler.
Q. Will the Cover Valet work with my in-deck, in-ground or free form concrete spa?
A. Yes, if there is a sufficient flat area at one end to accept the channel mounting brackets. The surface may be concrete, stone, brick, tile, or wood. The attachment of the mounting brackets uses stainless steel hardware or a masonry type adhesive. The spa or hot tub shape may vary as long as the spa cover is a vinyl-hinged, bi-fold type.
Q. Will the Cover Valet work with my spa cover?
A. Yes, if your spa cover folds in half with a vinyl hinge.
B. Yes, if your spa cover is not damaged. Damage in inner core may have added significant weight and make them too heavy to lift. If this is the case, repair or replacement of your spa cover is advised.
 Q. How does the Cover Valet work?
A. The Cover Valet utilizes pneumatic shocks to gently raise the folded spa cover to an upright, self-storing position. The spa cover is locked upright until the safety button is depressed, which gently returns the cover to the closed position.
Q. Can I install the Cover Valet?
A. Yes, it is a straightforward 25-40 minute installation.
Q. What is the Cover Valet made of?
A. The Valet main frame is made of powder coated steel. The fork arms are made of powder coated aluminum. The hardware is stainless steel.
Q. How long is the Cover Valet warranty?
A. The Cover Valet warranty is one year, limited to the original purchaser.
Q. How is the Cover Valet packaged and shipped?
A. The Cover Valet is packaged in a 3"x19"x31" sturdy white cardboard box and is shipped via UPS.
Q. Does the Cover Valet lock?
A. The Cover Valet is not lockable. Every spa should be equipped with a safety spa cover that locks.
